Gorgonzola, being a blue cheese, is one of my favorites.

The sample we tried had a very slight "stinky" character, so it might have been past it's prime. But I liked it anyway. As did the cat. Tangy, salty, cheesy, creamy. Enough flavor to really wake up your palate. My wife calls this sort of cheese "wangy". Which I think is a shortening of wow and tangy. I hope that's it anyway.

Now that we have the main three famous blues reviewed, I think I want to do a side by side caparison. Stay tuned for that.
