Drunken Goat Cheese Review

A long soak in wine is what gives this Spanish cheese it's distinction. While still relatively young the cheese is immersed for several days in Doble Pasta wine and then taken out to age for another couple months.

The cheese starts out mild and rich, but has a every clear sweet and spicy finish from the wine. But while very interesting the wine flavor remains subtle and doesn't over power the cheese. It's very delicious for nibbling on. The pate is firm and brilliantly white.

Most of the reviews of this cheese have said that it's hard to find, but I've seen it in several shops. Still, it might be best to not count on it staying common. If you see some, grab it up fast.
