Here was an interesting find. It was actually called Collier’s "Powerful" Welsh Cheddar, and seems to be a mass-produced cheese rather than a farmhouse Welsh cheese.

I would put this halfway between the American style cheddars (sharp, cheesy) and the farmhouse English cheddars (rustic and farmy).

Nothing special here. At least not in a world filled with cheddar. But certainly worth trying. It comes plastic wrapped with a picture of a miner on the label. How cool is that?
